Back from my hiatus and received e-mail notifications of several fanlistings where I’ve been added to the fans list.
I joined pbbt!, a fanlisting dedicated to P!nk’s single So What off her latest album Funhouse. It’s great angry ex-girlfriend music! I rarely enjoy an entire album by P!nk since her debut and several singles over the years, however, Funhouse is filled with ingenuity and awesome tunes.
Also joined Face It, a fanlisting for the action thriller Face/Off staring John Travolta and Nicholas Cage. It’s a bad ass film and concept; a definite http://prettyflowers.blessed-beauty.net/wp-admin/post.php?action=edit&post=465&message=7favorite of mine. The movie never gets old.
Killing Time is the fanlisting for Lacuna Coil’s Our Truth from their most recent album Karmacode. I really love that entire album. The band never fails. The song is about holding onto our truth and how others lie to themselves to avoid facing truth.
End to End is a PHP fanlisting. It’s pretty dorky, but I’m a web designer and I gotta show love to PHP coding. It makes my life easy.
For You To Love Me, a fanlisting for the wonderful ballad by Evanescence called Good Enough. It’s a beautiful song of self-reflection, acceptance, and true love.
Lastly, I’ve been added to Among The Ashes, a fanlisting dedicated to another Evanescence song, Lithium. Amy has expressed her struggles with depression, creativity, and growth from it. I can truly understand and relate to the lyrics. It’s a wonderful power ballad and tons of fun to play on piano.

Anything For You

Thanks to Shattered, I just completed and opened Devoted, the approved fanlisting for the Evanescence track titled Anything For You.
The song was written by Amy and Ben during the demo recordings back in 2000 – 2001. It’s the fastest paced song they’ve created to date, which surprisingly has a dance vibe to it. Despite it’s upbeat melodies, the lyrics are rather somber of a girl willing to believe and do anything for the object of her affection. Amy’s voice has evolved so much since the recording of this song and it’s great to watch the band’s growth. I’m so happy to help keep this fanlisting, as well as the others, up and running for future fans to join.
Check it out here!

Another thanks to Shattered for letting me adopt I Won’t Die For You, a fanlisting dedicated to the Evanescence song Lies (Remix).
The song is a revision of the original track found on the demo album Origin. The music is captivating and Amy sounds amazing as usual. The song speaks about breaking away from those that are deceptive and possessive. It’s a strong track and definitely a favorite of mine, so I’m delighted to adopt the fanlisting! Check it out here and join.

Lacrymosa, Eternal, & Last Song

Thanks to Shattered for letting me adopt these three Evanescence fanlistings (and two more coming very soon)!
I just opened Blame It On Me, dedicated to the song Lacrymosa, Endless, a fanlisting for Eternal, and So Run, a fanlisting for The Last Song I’m Wasting On You.
When I first listened to The Open Door, Evanescence’s second album, the new musical direction took some time to grow on me. One song I was anticipating was Lacrymosa, which was used in the promotional trailer for the album. It was an instant favorite and did Mozart justice. The lyrics are much simplier than Amy’s usual prose, however, still meaningful and powerful. Check out the fanlisting here!
The song Eternal is part of Evanescence’s many demo projects. Originally the song was one part of four, however, the songs were split and some didn’t make the cut on Origin. It’s an instrumental that I’ve wanted to learn how to play it on piano for so long. It’s a beautiful piece and the fanlisting can be found here!
The Last Song I’m Wasting On You was a bonus track for The Open Door and a B-Side on the Lithium CD single. It’s a solo song with Amy singing along with the piano. Amy has hinted the song was dedicated to co-founder and former member Ben Moody. The lyrics are so revealing and heartfelt. It’s a lovely song with such honesty and I admire Amy for it. The fanlisting is here!

Alice & Rosalie

Alice and Rosalie are two characters from the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. They are vampires and sisters through adoption. As I read Twilight, I imagined Alice as a graceful sweet girl while Rosalie was gorgeous and bold. During the story, Rosalie was very apprehensive at first but soon after warmed up to the idea her brother had fallen in love with a human. Alice was sweet natured. I really enjoyed the novel and these two characters are wonderful. I joined Endless Night, which is a fanlisting dedicated to the two characters and their relation to one another. Check out the book if you haven’t already!

True Lies, Maybe, and Jolie

I first heard Maybe back in summer 2006. My friends Julie, Jessica, and I went to Kelly Clarkson’s concert during the Addicted Tour. She performed several songs she planned on releasing on her upcoming album at the time (My December). When she sang Maybe, I instantly fell in love with the lyrics and melody — it were as though she took the pen and wrote my words for me. To this day, I still hold this song close to my heart, which is why I joined Just Need To Be Loved, a fanlisting for the lovely song.
I joined What Can I Say? I’m A Spy fanlisting for the film True Lies staring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jamie Lee Curtis. I remember seeing this movie back in the 90′s. It’s a funny adventurous film and I adore Jamie. It’s strange to see Eliza Dushku in the movie now knowing who she is. The girl was adorable.
Lastly, I joined the Angelina Jolie Fanlisting since I’m more of a fan of her personality rather than her films. The woman can act, but some films don’t intrigue me as much as her ideals and gracious nature. She really have become a wonderful woman and mother. It was only yesterday she was married to Billy Bob Thorton wearing vials of blood around their necks. Charming.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt

I joined Spark, a fanlisting for actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt. He is an amazing actor and brilliant man. Through his years working in the film industry, he has remained humble and grounded despite constant praise for his work. I first saw Joseph in Angels In The Outfield and 3rd Rock From The Sun. He has grown from a sweet talented child actor to a young man with unmeasurable skill with films like Brick . One can tell that he enjoys his work and is fulfilled by smart scripts and intriguing roles rather than the myth of Hollywood. Through his words and work, he has shown a wisdom beyond his years and has always inspired me.

I’ve been moved to the fans list at four fanlistings.
Once Upon A Time is dedicated to Disney characters Cinderella & Prince Charming. A classic story of rags-to-riches of a sweet girl meeting her soul mate. It’s a lovely pair and hey, a girl can dream, right?
Matriculated, a fanlisting for The Matrix series. I’m a big fan of the series, despite Reloaded and Revolutions not being my absolute faves. I’ll admit I did fall asleep in the theater during Reloaded and woke up in perfect timing of the Architect scene. It’s an awesome story and really innovative.
Kate Fan is a fanlisting for actress Kate Winslet who is divine. I loved her in films such as Titanic and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. She has such grace and talent. Each character she portrays seems so effortless. Her strength against conforming to Hollywood’s expectations of thin beauty is inspiring. She’s gorgeous and she doesn’t refrain from food to please the superficial.
Jodie Foster is a fanlisting for the wonderful actress. I remember her playing opposite Mel Gibson in Maverick amongst other films, but never had the chance to see Silence of the Lambs despite the rave reviews. Yes, I know, terrible of me. I can only assume she was phenomenol as usual. I admire her unique talent.

I’ve joined NONE, a fanlisting dedicated to a cool gal who goes by Lindsay^_^. She’s been so supportive in the fanlisting network and has joined so many, even the loniest fanlistings. She has joined two of mine, which is sweet.
I also joined The Whitechapel Murders, a fanlisting for the film staring Johnny Depp and Heather Graham titled From Hell. Nope, I haven’t actually seen the movie, but for so many years I’ve wanted to. I came across the post at the forum and said I’d join in good faith. I’m sure the movie is fantastic, Depp never disappoints me. And I will definitely check it out in the near future!

I joined the new fanlisting for actress Lucy Hale titled Adorable. She plays Rose in the new hit series Privileged.
Lovely owner Alyssia asked if I’d like to affiliate her fanlisting with mine for the show. Of course. Go check out Adorable here!
I’ve been moved to the members list at Tragic, the fanlisting dedicated to The Order starring late actor Heath Ledger. I remember watching the film on tv. It didn’t receive many great reviews when it initially released, however, Heath delivers a wonderful performance as usual.
Also, I joined The Jennifer Lopez Fanslisting. Despite her redundant roles and transparent acting abilities, she has had a few homeruns, such as Selena, The Cell, and Out of Sight. I enjoy her fun music and admire how far she has come from being a girl from the Bronx. She’s created an empire and did it with flare and grace. Gotta give the girl props!
